We’ve all known for a while that cross stitching is no longer just for grandmothers, but what Saint Petersburg artist Vera Shimunia is putting together is in a league of its own. From rainbow sunsets over flower-filled fields to textured foliage under starry winter skies, the detail and composition of these landscape pieces are completely mesmerizing. I could go on and on about things like how I just spent an inordinate amount of time stalking her Instagram because I’m obsessed with these little beauties and feel a driving NEED to see every single one. But I won’t. Instead, I’ll just let you take a gander for yourself at some of my favorites below. As for me, I’ll be over here debating about whether or not I should take up cross stitching, with a little lying to myself about how good I would be peppered in.
See ya later!
